This weeks show

Last week saw our introduction of our new top 12 which will replace Katie's Phat 5 which we have had for quite some time. We were trying to think about a name for this countdown. A couple of names that we have floated around include Phat Dozen and Phat Buns or Buns. What do you think? Very good top 12 for the first one for 2009. We may post the top 12 from each week as well, if just depends. Voting for the top 12 is the same as the Phat 22 and Katie's Phat 5 in the older format. It's important to get your votes into us via phone 52225 947 and sms 0488 259 947 between 10 and 12 Fridays and in the meantime via email phatmusiccrew@hotmail.com.

The rest of the show this week includes some beauties in terms of tracks. It's along the lines of songs we haven't played for a while and there are a few of them. Of course get in contact with us if you would like to hear a Urban track that you haven't heard for a while as well.

Just letting you know gearing up towards the Phat 22 for February, and we will repeat this information leading up to it, that there is going to be a change to how the voting goes for the Phat 22 for each month. What's going to happen is that the votes are going to be tallied from the Phat 22's each month and top 12's each show. So in this case in the Phat 22 from the previous month, so in this case it would be January's, number 1 is 22 points and so on. And in the top 12's number one is 12 points and so on. Of course you can still contibute to the Phat 22 in the meantime leading up to and on the night of the Phat 22 just by calling, sms or emailing us.

2009 is going to be such an exciting year!
