Yes our monthly countdown goes into our last one for the year as it is the month of December. This will be the last one until the new year. But we will be having our Phat 50 for the year leading up to next year where we countdown our top 50 songs for 2009 as compiled by the votes in the Phat 22 Countdown's each month. Should be a fantastic countdown and we will have more details about those shows coming up really soon.
But this week is our Phat 22 Coundown as voted by the 7 Inch Countdown your votes leading up to the show. Can Red by Daniel Merriweather make it to the number one position for another month? Rated R!!
No this isn't anything kinky (although it would depend on who you would ask) but we are playing the new release of the ultra cool Rihanna which is called Rated R!
This is Rihanna's fourth studio album since bursting onto the scene at the tender age of 16 and has emerged as a woman very quickly both as a person and in the music industry. Rated R writes about more personal experiences, and I would say the more public experiences of the press and public and Chris Brown. It's an album which I am really keen in which to listen to in more depth and one that I would say the general public would. Already in has been released internationally to good reviews and if you would like to listen to it in full before you buy the album then Phat Music is the show to listen to it first!
We will also be playing songs of her much celebrated hit albums such as Good girl gone bad and a girl like me.
